OUT OF THE BOX.NRW is “your” competition. Someone who puts North Rhine-Westphalia’s digital startup scene in the spotlight and celebrates it. And someone who shows how you with your ideas can be so convincing and inspiring that the community wants to see you in the final pitch with the chance to win a total of 50,000 euros in cash prize money!
It all begins with a supporter who nominates your startup. The nomination can be submitted HERE until March 8, 2021.
If you take on the challenge and agree to the competition conditions, you are in the race. Gather as many votes as you can for your sstartup at: www.outofthebox.nrw. The number of votes plus the jury’s vote decides which ten startups will have the opportunity to present themselves at the PIRATE Summit 2021 – not only to a highly distinguished jury, but also to a well-connected, communicative audience of investors, corporates, entrepreneurs and top-flight decision-makers.
This is where the decision will be made on who will be among the winners of OUT OF THE BOX.NRW. The first prize winner will be awarded 25,000 euros, the second 15,000 euros and the third 10,000 euros – as well as the certainty that the prize will open a great many doors for them.
Competition Conditions
1 – The startup is based in North Rhine-Westphalia.
2 – The startup was founded between November 1st, 2017 and November 1st, 2019 (criterium: entry in the commercial register or for companies not subject to registration: business registration / proof of membership of a professional association).
3 – The founding team or the employees of the startup did not nominate themselves.
4 – The startup pursues a scalable digital business model. No agencies, sorry.
