JETRO’s Invest Japan Business Support Center provides support to innovative foreign companies with the latest market information to help them in designing their Japan market entry strategy. We would like foreign companies to explore Japan as their investment destination and be catalyst in transforming the Japanese ecosystem for the better.

For our next online seminar, we will feature Murata Manufacturing Co.,Ltd, a global leader in the field of battery development. They produced the world’s first commercialized lithium ion battery, olivine battery (FORTELION) and tin battery (NEXELION) and they are providing cell, module and system technologies to explore the frontiers of energy storage.

We will invite General Manager, Battery Development Department of Murata, Mr. Hitoshi KATAKURA to provide an insightful overview of battery industry in Japan and the way they foster collaborations to develop transformational batteries for them and their users. We also aim at creating business-matching opportunities between the foreign companies and Murata.
