Nowadays energy is being produced close to where it will be used and the market for decentralised energy and storage systems continue to grow year-on-year.
At the next entech MEETUP Sven Tischer from E.ON will talk abuot decentralised energy systems and the impact they make for the energy transition. The topic will be further elaborated by Dr. Tobias Falke, the head of business development at Envelio, who will explain how digitization and automation can help accelerate and optimize grid planning and operation processes.

About the speakers:
Sven Tischer is an industrial engineer, working for E.ON for 5 years now. He started within E.ONs renewable business and now works since 2 years within innovation and decentral energy systems. He focusses on European innovation programs around decentral energy systems and customer participation in citizen energy communities.
Dr. Tobias Falke is the Head of Business Development of the IT startup envelio. Before moving to envelio, he worked for five years as researcher at RWTH Aachen University. During his tenure, he was in charge of a research team with more than 20 researchers that was focusing on the grid and market integration of renewable energies.Nowadays energy is being produced close to where it will be used and the market for decentralised energy and storage systems continue to grow year-on-year. At the next entech MEETUP we will discuss decentralised energy systems and mini grids and the impact it makes for the energy transition.
