Startups usually begin with big hopes and ambitious plans. However there are several circumstances that can either boost or kill startup, and one of that is access to capital. For any business to prosper funding is crucial.
According to CB Insights research, the second largest reason why startups fail is due to lack of cash (29%). Without a sufficient amount of capital to cover their operations, startups tend to run into problems resulting in a short runway. That's the obstacle causing founders to go out and seek financial backing for their startups.
Fundraising is an immense challenge, especially if you do not know from where and how to start. However, thanks to connectivity, loads of opportunities and use of technology, today it is easier to raise investment than ever before.
